Lemon & Thyme Chicken & A Giveaway

Sponsored by Nuffnang Australia

Lemon & Thyme Chicken & A Giveaway Maggi Just for 2 a12

My beloved and I have are like the biggest homebodies.  Even though Orange has many dining places to offer, our idea of “spending time together” involves a really nice home cooked meal and movies. Organising a romantic dinner does not need to be elaborate nor should it happen only on the 14th of February. It could be on any weekend or after work. I think having an impromptu romantic dinner with your loved ones during work week is a good way to break the work-sleep routine.

Simplicity is the key. If you need a little help from the Recipe Base pouches and packet aisle in the supermarket to make this dinner happens, why not. Whilst the majority of sauces on the market cater for families in terms of portion size and taste, there is a new product called Just For 2 by Maggie which specifically caters for, as the name suggests, two people, costing only $1.99 per packet.

Lemon & Thyme Chicken & A Giveaway Maggi Just for 2 a4

The Just For 2 range comes with 4 variety of recipe bases:

  1. Lemon & Thyme Chicken
  2. Moroccan Chicken
  3. Sweet & Sticky Pork
  4. Spicy Tomato & Red Wine Meatballs

There is no artificial colours, or flavours, as well as no added MSG.  As my beloved and I are big fan of chicken, we were looking forward to try the Lemon & Thyme Chicken first – a creamy and citrusy chicken dish which contains a concoctions of flavours such as thyme, garlic, lemon and rosemary. You’ll end up with a good amount that creamy sauce that goes really well with rice. Also, if you like the taste and scent of dijon mustard, you will definitely adore this dish!

I’m thinking that less time spent in the kitchen slaving over the stove means I’ll have more time to woo my love.

Anything that cuts time in the kitchen when the kids are starting up school and me heading out into the workforce (I haven’t collected a paycheck in 16 years! Wish me luck!) with the hubby is a winner in my book! I’m pretty sure this site will be bookmarked for such frantic occasions… Cheers!

I am horrible at putting flavours together, or at least getting them to taste nice together. Maggi would make our lives nicer, my husband wouldn’t have to oretend that the meal I have made him tastes nice, if he is relying on Maggi and not me, then tea would always taste great!

    The hamper sounds divine!!!
The Maggi Just For 2 would make things a bit easier as I wouldn’t have to waste time making a blend of flavours (that I usually get wrong anyway!), googling recipes, etc, and it would allow me to spend more time creating a romantic ambience. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!

Firstly, that dish looks splendid! Fantastic combination of flavours there fussfreecooking.com – chicken, thyme and lemon. Delicious.

    Secondly – my entry..

With much less preparation, this means more bench space and with only a 10 minute cooking time, that’s enough for a romantic dance in the kitchen, or you could make use of all that bench space 😉

My partner is a mechanic, and the wonderful smells coming from using these pouches would be more than enough to cover the greasy, petrol smell coming from him each night. Better smell equals more romantic dinner I’d say!

Between my full time job, my online start-up and my blog, sometimes I get so busy that I run out of time for cooking. It would be great to spoil my fiancé with a great romantic dinner for 2 at home!
