Despite I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Penang (in Malaysia), where cafes and malls are just about everywhere, Orange/Bathurst lifestyle is beginning to grow on me.
Here are the reasons why they have been good to me:-
- no traffic jams
- people are super friendly and helpful
- bigger food servings at cheaper prices (Boy, I love pub food!)
- last but not least, fresher air and beautiful green scenaries
The only teenie tiny whinge I have is the lack of good Asian restaurants and grocery stores. For the past few years, I have been making trips to Sydney to stock up my frequently used ingredients. When you live in a regional area long enough, online shopping will become a staple. While I have done a lot of online shopping for make up, books and clothes, I was hoping I can do the same with Asian groceries.
Finally, I might have found the answer.
If you love to shop for Asian groceries and distance may be an issue, go check out Asian Grocery Store as it provides Australia wide delivery.
