Delicious, convenient, speedy and budget friendly – these are the qualities I look for when I choose a lunch spot. I often meet up with my beloved near Prahran train station for lunch. Aside from the Station Hotel, the Mizu Japanese restaurant is the other alternative if you’re after a quick bite close to the station.
Located at the corner of Greville Street and Porter Street, it is hard to miss if you’re walking towards the direction of Greville Street. Oh look at me, trying to give you guys a street direction which I’m usually pretty bad at ha!
As soon as you enter the restaurant, rest assured that you will be greeted with a display of freshly made sushi rolls, ranging from the predictable varieties of avocado and crumbed prawns rolls to the crazy fusion of duck sushi rolls.
When it comes to food, I often joke that I have the appetite of a man! Sushi rolls are delicious and healthy but boy, it takes a good amount to fill me up! I like to go for a full meal like bento boxes and rice bowls which is what you’re going to see in this post. It also helps that the Mizu Japanese Restaurant offers a reasonable price point with its lunch menu – ranging from $9 to $14.
